Make a Forest is an initiative of Throwing Snowballs, a creative catalyst founded by Joanna van der Zanden and Anne van der Zwaag. They initiate and realize projects that connect art and design to society and encourage critical and creative thinking. Joanna and Anne both have extensive experience as curators and producers of cultural projects. They share the believe that art and design hold a communicative power that gets people moving, which in times of cultural change is positively necessary. Make a Forest was born out of this vision.
